Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the SnapFix.Homes app and website ("SnapFix", the "Service"), operated from Ontario, Canada. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
What SnapFix is — and isn't
SnapFix uses artificial intelligence to analyze photos of home repair issues and provide diagnoses, explanations, and step-by-step guidance. It is an informational tool to help you understand and tackle repairs.
Important safety notice. AI diagnoses can be wrong or incomplete. SnapFix is not a substitute for a licensed tradesperson, inspector, or other qualified professional. You are responsible for deciding whether a repair is safe for you to perform. Never attempt work involving gas lines, main electrical panels, structural elements, or anything regulated by local building codes without a licensed professional. If a situation seems dangerous — gas smell, sparking, major water ingress — leave the area and call a professional or emergency services.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of majority required in your region) to use SnapFix.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Subscriptions and billing
- SnapFix offers a free tier and an optional paid subscription, billed through your Apple ID.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies.
- We may change pricing or features with notice; changes apply at your next renewal.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and other content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to operate the Service — for example, sending your photo to our AI provider to generate your diagnosis and saving your repair history to your account. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.
Don't submit content that is unlawful, infringes others' rights, or contains other people's personal information without their consent.
Acceptable use
- Don't misuse the Service, attempt to access it by automated means, probe or disrupt our systems, or reverse-engineer the app.
- Don't use the Service to develop a competing product or to resell diagnoses.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of diagnoses, guides, and cost estimates. Repair outcomes depend on factors we cannot see or control.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapFix and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for property damage or personal injury arising from repairs you choose to perform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under Ontario consumer protection legislation.
Termination
You can stop using SnapFix and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to proceed elsewhere.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we'll update the date above and notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
